Fig's network of compounding pharmacies customize your medications to meet your particular health profile and personal preferences. The compounded medications come in various forms, from injectables to liquids. This custom approach also allows our network of doctors to adjust dosages as needed and cater to your specific needs. All medications that Fig provides access to are prepared in state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
Every Fig plan is built around you. You'll receive a personalized treatment plan created by a licensed medical provider after a full review of your health profile. If medication is right for you, we'll craft a custom dosing schedule and ship your treatment straight to your door, through a certified, state-licensed pharmacy. You'll also get unlimited 24/7 messaging with your dedicated care team.
Every person is different. That's why Fig connects you with board-certified doctors who will review your full health history and determine if a GLP-1 medication is appropriate for you. Only a licensed healthcare provider can determine whether a medication is safe based on your individual medical profile.
No, there are no long-term commitments required. That's something that people love about Fig! Fig's solutions are offered as flexible subscriptions that you can cancel anytime. We support individuals who want sustainable and guided access to medication.
Compounded medications are prepared by licensed, FDA-registered pharmacies and are subject to strict quality and sterility standards. Fig only works with pharmacies that meet or exceed USP 797 guidelines for sterile compounding. Your licensed provider reviews your full health history before prescribing — your safety is the first step in the process.
The most commonly reported side effects of GLP-1 medications are mild and temporary — typically nausea, reduced appetite, or fatigue, especially in the first few weeks as your body adjusts to the medication. Your Fig provider will start you at a low dose and titrate gradually to minimize discomfort. If you experience any side effects, your care team is available to adjust your plan.
Many GLP-1 medications available through traditional pharmacies can cost over $1,000/month without insurance and are often difficult to obtain due to supply shortages. Fig offers compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies at a fraction of the cost, with a fully online process and no insurance required. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, but they are a legal and widely used option when commercially available alternatives are inaccessible or cost-prohibitive.
