How treatment decisions are made

How treatment decisions are made

Every patient completes an online health assessment covering weight history, medical conditions, and current medications. A licensed provider reviews that intake and decides whether a GLP-1 medication is clinically appropriate. There is no charge until a provider approves treatment, and a prescription is never guaranteed. Patients with contraindications, including a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN-2, are not eligible.

Pharmacy and quality standards

Pharmacy and quality standards

Fig is partnered with state-licensed, FDA-registered 503A compounding pharmacies that prepare all medications. Fig does not compound medication itself. Partner pharmacies operate under state and federal compounding regulations and meet or exceed USP 797 standards for sterile compounding. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
